Hi Jim You have just experienced something that companies call “planned obsolescence”- they build their products well enough for you to gain confidence in their product ie. ‘it did last six years so that’s cool’- there they have your support – what do you do? Go out and buy a new Xbox. We are all victims of planned obsolescence ……Good luck buddy – sorry about your lousy day.
