How to fix E74 error without opening the Xbox 360! (Works with most other errors too!)

Do not bother trying this if you have me to blame if you do something worse! I did this for the same reason you think it a try. RRoD finally showed up on M $ for Xbrick! Steps include: 1 Removing hard drive, A / V cable and just use the power cord 2 Restart your Xbox, so that the flashing red ring of death third Wrap with about 3 or 4 thick not so thick towels fourth Xbox can run for about 20-25 minutes 5 Discover off and let cool for 10 – 15 minutes 6 Put everything back in and give it a shot! If your still covered by warranty I would recommend only using fixed it .. not sure if mine is, and must look for my receipt. If you return an Xbox with the RRoD I would love to hear what was this whole process like that. HAVE FUN! how do u get the RROD IV had my Xbox for 3 years and never had the RRODdann again my Xbox is on roids cause I had it, a small group of units (5 or 6 levels) and works fine

Do not touch the Xbox to your TV, because all the heat goes directly to the TV, the Xbox just a friendly tip

@ Jasonfields52 Did not work at all? Even for a short time? It could be something else wrong with your machine, if that’s the case. But even if it does, it does not last that long and the more you use your Xbox quicker the next crap again!

The towel trick is a popular way home. It does, however, been the paper clip method could be a little less dangerous. Place it in the back, prevents the fans for rotatting for about the same time or less, and the lights change to 2 lights. REpower then your console a few times until it works. But great video. Glad you got it working. (Thumbs up)

@ CoDMoDz720 you just want to do this if you can not take your Xbox RRoD the past and you have no guarantee to cover it! Also, just like in the video, a fire extinguisher is recommended, but I personally do not have to catch a little fire to listen to!

@ BLACKOPSPROTWIN I would be happy to help you, but I’m not sure I completely understand the question .. First, say you have a capacity of 13.9GB then you wonder why you have 13.9GB used space? I know I skipped the middle part of the downloaded 5.8GB of free space and a 6GB game, but not quite sure how to read your question.

What happened to cause RROD is the glue that expands a reworking of the units due to overheating …. cools it in a disconnected state. This is mainly targeted hoping to expand the adhesive (overheating) and that it is the right place … good luck to land human … In concept, a new Xbox is doing so in this for kicks buy hah

@ Deriksiphone I have a 3 RROD Xbox 360 Premium 2007 with no leads, because I can get it for free, but should I use it for spare parts incase my 2008 Elite needs a fan or something

epic win, I just turned my Xbox with the increase protecter and downloads in the background and was in front of my Xbox exit exam for downloads i shut the increase proteter and they show 3 red ring off really quickly and I turned it back on and it always no matter how far does
