Yea, use a better paste, I don’t do this video fix, i fix my own and my customer never has any problems lol over a year now
this shit does not fucking work. neither does the so called “penny trick”. My xbox red ringed two days ago. I’ve tried both tricks. Neither of them work. I guess maybe because every trick on here is for the old version? I have a new xbox, and it red ringed. If anyone could help me at all I’d really appreciate it.
I read that this doesnt work properly – anyone else know anything else i can try?

BAH! Just buy a new Xbox. I can’t be bothered with all that crap of unscrewing, taking a part, spraying – not worth my time.
Same goes if it’s under warranty, who cares, it’s much quicker just to go buy a new unit.
did this legit work for anybody? it worked for me but only like 2 hours, even with leaving the case off the xbox and a external fan on it
Definitely put the CPU heatsink on the wrong way… even after he said it only goes on 1 way.

i think its to space out the bottom of the case and the motherboard and let it have more heat to come out

Nobody has been able to explain this to me…..
They can’t/won’t act as heatsinks if they’re covered in tape and if they weren’t covered in tape they’d probably short out the board…..
So……..Their purpose is?
i did everything you said to do and it worked for about 2 days but now i have the rings again..what could be the problem?
you guys can use high purity isopropyl alcohol and lint free cloth to clean instead of the thermal cleaner and remover.

This worked for like 2 weeks and now I have rrod again did the same thing and it doesn’t work, what should I do?
What did you use to take off the thermal paste?
Also, do I really have to clean the heat sinks and micro-processors.
Do I have to take the maxipad things off?
What kindof tape do we use for the pennies and what type of compund was it? where can i buy some?
using that much cooling compound will cause your XBOX 360 to FAIL. use much less, this guy should have also told you to MAKE SURE TO COVER THE PROCESSORS COMPLETELY with the compound. Just a very thin layer works best.
