It arrived on the 27th of september 2007. It went for repairs because it didn’t wanna start at all. Never showed RROD, screen artifacts or freezing problems. I sent in a 03/06 unit with a Samsung and no faceplate and I got back a 07/07 unit with Hitachi, a white faceplate and the new GPU Heatsink. It came with an free month of live card. I exchanged this unit with a friend for a HDMI enable one. He had this console until end of 08 beggining of 09 when it showed RROD.

how long did the xbox take to get back home?
if its the white faceplate of course they are going to send it back. if its custom they probably won’t because when i sent mine in couple on months ago, they sent me back a new console.
What if you sent them your white default faceplate by mistake? Please tell me I’ll get it back.

This is bullshit…I sent in my xbox…and recieved someone elses crappy xbox. It’s all scratched up and now I havent got a Benq drive..It’s some crappy thing with low framerate

They stopped giving out new faceplates by the start of the 08 year

I meant the same broken faceplate, not console. They fixed my console.

Of course they do. Otherwise you’d never see the infamous “Your Xbox was returned NOT repaired” message.
I got Red Rings of Death and my USB flap was broken so I kept it on and they just gave me the same broken one what gives?
